The 14th U.S.-Japan Conference on Cultural and Educational Interchange took place in Washington, D.C. in the Ripley Center of the Smithsonian Institution

The 25th anniversary of the prominent individuals from both countries assembled in Tokyo at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

CULCON XII

Co-Chaired by the Director of the Hoover Institution on War, Revolution and Peace as well as the Advisory Director of the Industrial Bank of Japan.

CULCON XI

Good-will messages opened CULCON XI delivered by the Minister of Education, Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, and the Ambassador of the US.

CULCON X

Charles Bray, Deputy Director of the International Communication Agency, and Japanese Ambassador Yoshio Okawara opened CULCON X.

CULCON IX

President Carter and Prime Minister Fukuda gave an opening message at the 8th conference about cultural and educational interchange

CULCON VIII

The eighth conference had delegates meet in Washington, D.C. where they agreed to a number of recommendations designed to deepen and widen mutual understanding.

CULCON VII

Delegates representing the governments, academic communities, mass media, businesses, political communities & fine arts of the two countries met in Tokyo.

CULCON VI

Delegates from multiple industries of the two countries met to review the state of cultural and educational interchange over the past two years

CULCON V

The fifth conference discussed ways to expand cultural & educational interchange and cooperation in the future for both countries.
